Nice watch especially as my build is on the slim side.

Seems to be well built and easy to read. I wish though I’d noticed that the band lugs are built in solid

so you cannot install a conventional watch band if you desire. You’re pretty much stuck with the NATO type bands which make the kinda thick watch stick out from your wrist even higher. If I’d of noticed that I wouldn’t have bought it. I prefer the Swiss Army type bands. But it’s my bad, not Drop’s fault as it’s listed in the description. I just didn’t notice that part.

So far so good.

Pretty much immediately swapped the band for a well worn and comfortable old nato strap. Considering the petiteness of the watch itself the accompanying strap almost seems chunky. I selected this watch for the 4 o'clock crown and its smaller size for everyday wear in the hopes it wouldn't quite cop the thrashing I issued to the Timex it is replacing. So far, so good. Time will tell how well it can survive. I have missed the date function a couple times so far but it was a feature I wasn't desperately attached to when a cell phone is usually not far from hand. Simple, handsome design and whilst I was a little surprised initially at just how diminutive it is in person that was quickly forgotten, especially with my girlish wrist size.

WHAT A WATCH. The Bertucci A-1S field watch is one of a kind solid block of stainless steel with solid band bars. It is very visible clear dial, mine is white with red second hand. Easy to wear and light weight and almost indestructible. Use the same band or change.
