I got the glow case and dial version and I love it!
This is the watch with the most readable dial in dark environment I have ever owned.
The case is sturdy and seems very durable – I did bump it quite a few times: no scratches nor dents.
The 4 o’clock crown position is nice. It won't stick into the back of your hand.
The band is a bit stiff at first but it gets better after a few weeks.
Comfortable, sturdy, attractive!
One of the only watches I've enjoyed wearing, ever!
Metal construction and parts, along with a durable nylon wristband (and the fact that it is waterproof) make this watch perfect for everyday wear, or adventuring.
Would definitely buy again, if this one ever wears out!
I really like this watch. It looks great and the size is perfect. The nylon strap it came with, not a fan. The strap is stiff, scratchy and actually split at the end after two days. I ended up buying the Horween strap from Bertucci and while the strap cost nearly doubled the overall cost of the watch, I really like it and think it complements the overall look of the watch. I would buy this watch again.
Really enjoying the watch so far. It looks and feels very sturdy, great for work. I'm not a huge fan of the band, though. It looks good and it appears as sturdy as the watch itself, but I don't find it very comfortable. Will probably be trying some different bands to get something a little less stiff.
Initially I thought this watch was good value, however having lived with it for a few days all I can say about it is "cheap."
My concerns: The "fiber-reinforced poly-resin" just feels like a cheap plastic kid's toy. It sounds cheap as you run your fingers over it, it feels cheap when you touch it. The spring bars are far as I can tell are not removable, and the "nato" strap is just one long band, not a true nato style (individually attached to each spring bar). If those break, watch isn't wearable. The lume on the dials is almost non existent. Second hand is 1/3 off in-between minute ticks. The strap is honestly the nicest part of the watch, it's thick and well stitched.
So yes, it was sold as a $50 watch, but it feels like a 50MSRP that's sold for $20. I can get over some of the issues, but the overall feel of the case is just so off-putting, I'll probably end up giving it to my 3 year old to play with.
Great watch. My only criticism would be the less than satisfactory strength of the illumination. I get that it needs to be exposed to sunlight, but even with that it could be (much) brighter.
Like it a lot. Very light weight and readable face. Band is reminiscent of military material. I've been looking for a good field watch for EDW and this one delivers so far. Well worth the price and Drop was actually lower than Amazon this time. WTG Drop!!!
