Product Description
The Bestech Junzi looks more like a tactical knife than a slipjoint, but that’s what makes it such a clever piece of handiwork. In Confucianism, a “junzi” is a gentleman, an apt name for this compact and handsome folder Read More

Do they still use a screw on the inlay? I see pictures and videos online both with and without the screw.

If a slipjoint knife bit you, you were using it improperly. If wielded correctly no knife will bite the user. And yes I have been bitten and yes it was my carelessness. Also my edc is a slipjoint SAK for versatility and a Benchmade Bugout for blade.

I received an email from drop informing me that the shipment will be delayed. The shipping date was indicated as yesterday 11/8/2020. They have given the option to cancel the order but I will wait. Many products from China are delayed on account of Coved

Nah, it's fine. These knives are more collectibles to me, so I'm ok with just having them at home with the junzi in my pocket.

modnessWell most of knives are mainly used at home. Strange though how some knives get literally unused while ones favourites are used all the time. I probably only have 2 knives I use a lot. I love in a little village, so carrying knives anywhere is not a problem in our around the village. We see a police car about twice a year and they are always friendly

Like does Best Tech even listen to customers. I totally re-iterate the majority of comments, namely why the F*** a slipjoint.... Then if you decide to go with a slipjoint you put a bloody clip? More is not always better. Beautiful shape, blade material and handle material. Just minus the slipjoint, do a deep carry clip and also offer dynawood inserts then the carbon fibre which is way over done.

Lawmakers are so short sighted there. Should be addressing the gangsters wanna be. Like what the difference to holding a paring kitchen knife or a locking knife more then 3 inches.

lxchinIt's the low hanging fruit in the US, no big lobby support ! The kicker is when is the last time you remember mid tech or custom knives being used criminally (the Sebenza slasher or Rockstead ripper ) ? Most crimes are committed with box cutters or kitchen knives even screwdrivers (and let's be honest guns are preferred) ! Not distinct or easily recognizable knives ! It's a way for politicians to set up a table with the most overdone items from the mall ninja arsenal and say "we're making a difference" ! The seizures in the UK got so ridiculous they stopped showing them (antique swords and literal silverware) ! I live in New Jersey , no automatics , double edged , or gravity knives allowed ! Because of course automatics kill faster ,double edged can kill twice as many ,and I have to believe they think "gravity" knives actually effect the earth's gravitational field itself endangering all life on the planet !

Here are my gripes. I doubt I'm the only one that thinks the carbon fiber inlay detracts from the overall appearance. The pocket clip looks bad and is too thick. Finally, I think the thumb stud should be easily removable and a finger groove should have been created along length of the blade.

I imagine someone somewhere has it cheaper, but checking 11 knife sites it appears that the going price for most sellers is ~$168.00. If you like the knife, $105 seems like a fair price. If you don't like the knife, well no price will be a good deal (this is especially true of those who feel a slip joint is not safe).

Earnest inquiry: Why would one ever opt for a slip joint over something with a locking mechanism? I've never understood foregoing (what in my mind is) a safety feature.

Thanks for the info... that's insane that countries even have the ability to limit your freedom on that scale. The dress clothes bit makes sense too. Thanks for your time!

WutangClanWell, there are some countries - like my native Germany - that forbid carrying knives that lock and can be opened with just one hand.

that screw to hold the carbon fiber inlay in place really sticks out.... wish they used glue or reversed the direction of the screw
