Bestech has built an extensive line of high-performing titanium frame locks used around the world. With the Supersonic, the company has taken a different direction. Retaining the titanium handle, Bestech has equipped the Supersonic with a tactile thumbstud deployment mechanism. Ceramic ball bearings facilitate ultra-smooth opening action, making this knife a joy to wield. The 3.5-inch blade is made from versatile S35VN stainless steel with a two-tone finish. This complements the stonewash finish on the titanium handle. Also on the handle is a prominent lanyard hole and a titanium pocket clip for easy carry.

Developed by Crucible Industries (one of the leading manufacturers of specialty steels for the cutlery industry) and Chris Reeve (pioneer of the integral frame lock, featured on the Gent Select), S35VN is perhaps the most balanced blade steel ever created in terms of all-around performance. It’s made through a process known as Crucible Powdered Metallurgy, which results in near-perfect consistency in the distribution of carbides. Compared to conventional melting practices, the CPM process produces a steel characterized by superior dimensional stability, grindability, and toughness.
