Check this out. If you unscrew the flashlight head about 1 full screw or so you do not have to physically turn it each time you want to use it. You just apply a little pressure to the head and release and repeat to cycle through the modes. Mine started acting a little kooky when screwed down all the way (like it would stay on). This is something I stumbled across and actually like the functionality alot better. Try it!

The Tip2 has a quick release as well. It's $14 cheaper on here, way way brighter. Great long lasting battery. I Copped the Tip2 n was gonna get this just for a comparison then gift the one I liked less but can't find the actual size specs for one. Then the mix up with the copper/brass description. Idk. Seems like everyone who purchased a Tip2 has been very happy with it, this doesn't get that same positive rating from all buyers. I'd still try it if the specs were all there.
