Is it just me or the copper has only two modes? It looks like it does have three modes, but the last two have the same lumens. Anyone could help?

edu.dadI'm seeing the same thing. On initial test, it looked like 1 lumen/ 70 lumen/85 lumen. Now about two weeks later looks like 1/85/85. Looking online I realized it should be 1/15/85. Hopefully Massdrop can advise whats up... I got the copper and it's already starting to patina well, but I don't want a $60 light that last 1 month if something else goes wrong with it.

AcemedicIt went back to three modes after using a rechargeable battery. How about you?

edu.dadSo... poked around on the manufacturers website. They said "do not" use alkaline and recommended enloop batteries. I swapped the alkaline out for a lithium and it works flawlessly now.

AcemedicI hope that short period of time using Alkaline won't cause much damage to the flashlight... I looked at the website and found that out, too.

edu.dadit's 3 modes. it's pretty clear it's 3 modes.
1 lumen to 15 lumens to 85 lumens. you need to look at the ratios to understand how the difference works.
1:15 is 15x the original
15:85 is only 5.6x the original.
the huge difference makes it clearly obvious.
