These lights are fairly nice, but mass produced in China. The LED is nice (nichia 219) but if your battery isn't freshly charged, you won't see the difference in output (mode)
I have to say, I really wish the number of Copper lights was higher.. Now that's an interesting light.

KriptoIt is my understanding that these lights are made in Mountain view California by Jason Hui at Dark Sucks.

This relationship enables me to bring this light to a large audience like Kickstarter, which would be entirely impossible to accomplish on my own. " His alpha lights are made in the USA, which really isn't an indication of quality, but if you want to be picky about it...
