Only $3 cheaper than Amazon's price today, but this won't ship until December 14th. Seriously, Massdrop?

IronMan84Almost every board game deal I've seen here can be beat by Amazon when you figure in shipping or wait time.

brandon.cordellYou can't figure in wait time in terms of price though. Or rather, waiting is a part of price discrimination, and people will price it differently. Some people will prefer to pay less and wait, others won't. I for one am happy to save $ and wait for most non-perishable stuff unless the price difference is truly negligible (like a dollar or less). In the case of this board game, it's not like I need it by the weekend. It's not an emergency. Heck I am not sure I would even use it until next October.

Archdukechocula"You can't figure in wait time in terms of price though." Sure you can. I'm not going to wait 2 months to save $3-4. That's even if they can beat Amazon's price at all. A lot of the board games I've seen on here are more expensive than Amazon.

brandon.cordellBut I am. So you can't say "every board game deal can be beat when you figure in shipping or wait time." Because for many of us, the cheaper price is more important than wait time, meaning the deal in fact cannot be beat by Amazon. Point being, whether the deal is better or not depends entirely on the consumer in question. It's fine that you'd prefer the faster shipping that you pay a $3 premium for, but that's a personal thing not a hard and fast rule.

ArchdukechoculaWith this kind of wait though, you might as well just look for a deal on Black Friday.
