Is there a option for the 32 Ohm version? That maybe a better choice for portable use.
This works fine on my Sony Z3 compact. Though it's 80 ohms but it's also very sensitive. So cell phones just work fine with DT1350s.
This particular Beyer is only available in one impedance and I concur with stevie.pei it's fairly easy to drive. I do use mine with a FiiO E12A but it works just fine with my HTC One (m9). If you have a low quality HO on your device you might need a small headphone amp for "reference-level" listening.
DT1350 doesn't have a 32 Ohm version
Oooh, I would definitely like to see this. Especially if it's the same as this version with 32 ohm, would sound better on my phone...
There is no such version on the US or German Beyerdynamic website. So...proceed with caution in case they are not genuine. Though they may be a regional exclusive.
Let us know how they sound if you get them. I actually think the higher impedance on the 80 Ohm DT1350's makes them sound better. I also have the T51Ps for a lower impedance portable option.
Very curious, let us know how they are. Post a review too with pics.
That's the "AT" 1350 which I pointed out to UNW209, and he said that it's not the one he saw. He pointed out a "DT" 1350 that looks just like the 80 Ohm version with 32Ohm impedance. (Check out the link that UNW209 posted. It's a DT 1350 box with a 32Ohm sticker on it)
I actually like the Starwars look of the AT 1350 but you have to terminate the cable yourself and since it's rare it goes for nearly 2x the price of the standard DT 1350.
