ohsigmachiI saw a Beyer site that had ALL the parts - the cable was ~$29... Need to find it again, as I have four that need replacing.

ohsigmachi I'm not sure what your particular needs are where the cabling is concerned, but if durability is worry I would say don't sweat it. I've had the DT770's for 10 years of daily use. I'm wearing them right now in fact. I've rolled over the cable dozens of times, tripped over it, sat on it... everything that happens to a cable over the course of daily use and abuse. Never had any issues.

FarnhamI'd like to be able to change cable lengths, if the cable wasn't 40ft long you probably wouldn't punish it nearly as much.
I have DT880 and 990s and cable length is my chief gripe about both of them.
I had a custom 5ft cable made for my DT1770s and it is perfect for my rig.
