I received my DT770 (80Ω) headphones today. They ARE IN FACT STUDIO models as shown in the picture in spite of Drop verifying they would be Pro models! Oh well as I understand it they are the same product. The good news is, they were Delivered to my door, by Canada Post, 3 weeks from the day I ordered them (arrived 3 weeks earlier than the estimate). There was no tax, duty or handling fees! They came Via USPS through Asendia. This is a nice contrast from my HD58x order which took 1 month and 3 days and arrived at the Post Office with a $20.17 charge pending made up of $10.17 Canadian Goods and Services Tax and a $10 DLH fee. Looks like Asendia is the Shipper to use (at least for Canada)! Cheers, Gary PS And BTW they came, landed cost of $171 Canadian. This is $97 cheaper than the best Canadian price from Long & McQuade = $239 + $28 tax = $268. Newegg.ca was $281 plus tax = $315. Amazon.ca was $265 w S&H + 12% tax = $297. ALMGNOONAs previously posted: "And oh by the way the DT770 STUDIOs sound great! A little brighter in the high end than my HD58x cans, but not as warm in the mids; About the same bass as far as I can tell after matching the levels. More comfortable than my Sennheiser HD 280 Pros and better bass. A little disappointed in the construction, as the metal holders don't slide smoothly into the plastic and are a bit loose." I'm finding them pretty comfortable but nothing like the HD58x's or my HD 4.50 BTNC cans that I have added Velour earpads and Headband pads to. Because they're "closed back" I use them for mixing my music. I find comparing the DT770s to the HD58x's and my KEF BBC Monitors is a good cross-reference for level and tone!
