I have these for like 8 months now. I will just leave my 2 cents here. Yes, these are DT 990 Premium Manufactur. You can assemble just like this one at Beyerdynamic online store, and it will come out just like $10~$20 more expensive than here, not counting in shipping. If you are thinking about ordering from EU, then you are just better off by ordering them from Beyerdynamic. Premium is a completely different headphone from Pro. The drivers are different, the frequency response is different. QC on these were pretty poor. Mine, and few other people had issue, that the drivers were rattling. I sent mine back to beyerdynamic, they sent me back new headphones, those were fine. But, just so you know - some 5 out of some 40 people had the same issues. So be careful. To enjoy these headphones the most - I highly recommend to have DarkVoice! These headphones pairs godly with tubes. I own m50x, THx00, and these. M50x I use at work, just because they are closed set. So at home I have x00 and these - and since I got these - x00 have been sitting in the box since. I fucking love these. The bass is insane. Much more tighter and faster than x00, these go lower, and, even tho these are open back, they still can shake you eyeballs! The details are clear. Soundstage is awesome. Highs may get a bit too much, but I have grown to like them, and the sound of x00 now just seems muddy and dull.
Magni 2 on high gain and DarkVoice can push these headphones over their limit. Aune X1s just gets there, can push team completely fine tho. Over time, I feel like the required power to drive them, has calmed down. When new, when I plugged in my phone to see how bad they would sound - they barely made any sound. Now, when phone maxed oud, they sound almost fine. So dont get scared about the 600 ohms. I havent listened to other models, but I have heard from people around, that 600ohm versions have faster and tighter bass. And that is the thing I love about these headphones.
