how much amplification do you need for 600 ohm cans?
i got the aune t1 mk2 the other day, want to make sure i don't buy headphones i can't drive properly.
anyone got a ballpark wattage or whatever the right metric is for 600 ohm phones?

letsgodukeI do not think the Aune T1 MK2 is strong enough for 600ohm headphones. It is capable of playing them, but the output at 600ohm is something around 75mw which is pretty tiny. Better than nothing, but not in the ballpark of "good output" by any stretch. That amp is more for 250ohm and under headphones IMO. I personally prefer to have around 1w output capability for my 600ohm headphones so that I have enough power headroom for any kind of dynamics my music throws at the amp.

porkfriedNot really. That is 800mw at 32 ohm, up at 600ohm it will probably be down somewhere around the 60-75mw range too. Not enough power for proper music dynamics
