Ok I need help. I am on the fence over which high end headphones to get I am getting by with a pair of sennheiser pro 280 and a Flo E07. Please tell me why theses cans are the ones to get? I plan to get one of the tube headphone amps I see here too.

scubaYou're going to want a headphone amp with some cojones in order to drive these to their full potential. I don't know anything about the Fio and haven't paid much attention to the amps that Massdrop has sold in the past. However, I have Sennheiser's HD 650 headphones, which are 300ohm. To my ears, they were too power hungry for a Woo Audio WA6 and a Little Dot MKVI+. It wasn't until I paired them with the Schiit Lyr that they truly came to life. With these being 600ohm I'm sure the Lyr will have its work cut out.
