These things sound very nice if you feed them a good source and amp them properly. I noticed they take more amping power to get a decent volume than any other IEM I've used - probably won't sound their best unamped straight out of a phone or ipod. I use them with my DX90 music player (which has a built in amplifier) and they sound fantastic. At the final price point of this drop, for ~$75 I believe these are a steal in terms of potential sound quality.
Edit: One of the drivers of my dx 160's has died after a few months of light use. Apparently the build quality of this model is very unreliable.
