Hi there, I was wondering about what I would need to drive these kinds of things. I'm not an audiophile, but I can appreciate good sound, so would I need an amp or DAC to drive these things? And what would be the one you'd recommend to me?

Boss_DudeAnything with sufficient current and voltage. Integrated sound on computers and the outputs of many stereos are bad (different specifics, same cause - no money spent on that bit, just a nice "extra"). The biggest problem is by far with adequate amplification. Most things have sufficiently ok DACs to be hard to tell from ideal, because it's an old technology and getting a good converter isn't hard if it's on the bill of materials. Providing well-isolated, clean amplification is trickier and is best done with a separate break-out box of some sort.
If your source is digital, you're only looking at the quality of the DAC and the amplifier itself. Bits is bits is bits, for the vast, vast majority of intents and purposes w/r/t audio transmission.
