The BGVP DM7 builds on the success of the DMG and DM6 models with refinements to the materials and sound quality. To make these improvements possible, the company put a lot of work into the driver configuration, opting for six balanced armatures (made by Knowles and Sonion) linked in a four-way passive crossover. Four sound bores keep the audio separated into its four key components—the lows, mids, highs, and super-highs—resulting in a clean, clear sound with superb imaging and layering. Each sound tube has an acoustic filter that helps shape the sound signature and remove any unwanted peaks and dips to provide the purest listening experience.

For a snug, comfortable fit, the DM7’s shell was ergonomically designed based on vast amounts of data from the Siemens eardrum database—that includes ear structure data from tens of millions of test subjects! Finishing details include high-quality MMCX connectors and an eight-core cable, with four cores made of single-crystal copper and the remaining four cores made of audiophile-grade cable with mixed silver foil wire.
