I have previously commented on my experience with the DMG in the comments section but I felt I should offer an amateur review. I've purchased quite a few IEM style earphones over the last year or so. Most have been budget priced models from the likes of KZ, TRN, Tin Audio Etc. I have ventured near the $300 mark with the Fiio FH5 but can't bring myself to commit to anything higher in price unless I can be convinced there is a substantial gain to be had. Especially now that I've experienced what $115 can get you. With the BGVP DMG IEM's I believe I have reached a pinnacle of price to performance ratio. These things just sound balanced and fun tom me. They are revealing and offer substantial clarity. The bass is strong and articulate while the treble is airy but controlled. many of the cheaper BA hybrids tend to be bright sounding which is OK with me but the DMG's just seem more natural. I prefer that my earphones provide extended high end because my hearing is not what it used to be and I feel like it helps to have some emphasis there. These just seem to do most everything right for me. They are also quite comfortable with the chosen silicon tips. I know the sister product DM6 from BGVP is supposed to be a superior product but I really don'r feel compelled to take the risk by spending another $160-$200 to find out. Will I buy other IEMs? Probably, but I will likely be more careful and selective because I just don't see how much better it can get. After having bought about 20 pairs I think I need to slow it down a bit. I do have a pair of the Tenhz P4 pros coming from the Drop but I'm not expecting any improvement over the DMGs. I highly recommend these.

I use both but it depends on whether I am listening while at my desk or away from it. I spend more time listening either in bed or as I'm moving about with a DAP and IEMs. When I have the time I enjoy listening using my desktop gear and over ear headphones. The desktop equipment with over ear headphones just provides overall better performance.

lemon07rGot the filters on the 9th, haven't really played with them yet, still figuring out what the included ones are like. They do fit perfectly though as I wanted to confirm that.

I'm very surprised by the sound signature. It's very fun to listen to. For the price I paid, it makes me think why paying for more for other expensive IEMs when I can have this outstanding sound and quality for the price I paid for these. I own a paire of costum A12 by 64 audio that cost almost $2000 and I ended up using BGVP DMG more. I enjoy the sound signature of the BGVP DMG IEMs more because it uses 2 dynamic drivers per ear for the lows the bass feels more natural and fun to listen to. I listen to musics and watch videos for a long period of time without any fatigue whatsoever.

Yes it is.
If these BGVP DMG IEMs provide "outstanding sound and quality for the price" and allow you to "listen to musics and watch videos for a long period of time without any fatigue whatsoever", they deserve a 5-star rating... unless you can specify an issue they have.

I have at least 30 IEMs ranging from name brands like Bose and Shure to the more obscure chi-fi brands like the the KZ-as10 and the CCA-c16. These hands down are my favorite. While they are middle of the road in price they punch well above. The fit and finish is very high quality. The cable is decent but the sound. Oh the sound. To me they have a warm feeling 2 them. I’m a bit of a bass head and these have great bass when sealed and seated correctly. Unlike the other chifi brands who are too treble forward and lead to listening fatigue I can wear these all day. I am driving them with a few different amps and I have turned them way up with no distortion that I can hear! I just bought the Audeze iSine20s the same week I got these in the mail. I thought the iSine would have been my favorite but they have taken a seat to this here work of art. If your on the fence just buy them! Even if you aren’t on the fence treat yourself and click buy.

Sound quality, to my preference these are 5 stars. Just this side of warm, with strong bass, forward mids, and extended treble, without being fatiguing at all. This must be the syrupy warmth people talk about. I run these off my Sony NWA45b without problem, and they handle all my genres without issue. Be sure to try out the different filters! I tried the stock and bass filters, and hated it. WAY TOO BASS HEAVY FOR ME. I put in the silver filters, and things just clicked, in the best way. That said! Here's why they lost a star: I love the look, the cables, and everything, nothing wrong there. But the filter threads aren't the tightest. My silver filters keep backing out after the lightest of use (sitting at a coffee shop table, listening to music, and taking them out on the occasion to hit the bathroom or buy more coffee). I almost lost the filters twice, once when just opening up my carrying case, and once when taking the DMG's out of my ears. Now that I know, I'm pretty vigilant about retightening them. Still, a worthwhile inconvenience for the best sound I've gotten out of an IEM for under $300 so far.

SqueeYou could try a very thin coating of purple loctite or vibra-tite vc-3 on the threads of the filters to keep them from unscrewing in your pocket/bag but still allow them to be unscrewed with your hands. By thin layer I mean touch the end of the tube of thread locker with your finger and wipe a film of the liquid on the threads rather than applying a full drop of liquid to the threads. Make sure that if you use loctite that you screw in the filter before it dries but if you use vibra-tite VC-3 you must let it dry before assembly. They are two completely different types of chemicals hence the different instructions. Background: classically trained musician who has been playing and listening to music since he was 3. I primarily listen to melodeath, romantic era orchestral, some rock, jazz, and some chip tune. For headphones, I have the Elex, K712pro, and DT990 250 ohm. My preferences lean towards neutral sound profiles with strong bass (in terms of body). Fit/finish: these are very comfortable iems. I have these in while I'm at work for up to 8-10 hours a shift and almost am never fatigued. I use the foam tips they come with, but have spent a few days with other tips as well. I think the plastic shell feels durable, and the paint looks nice. The cables aren't too microphonic, but every once in a while there will be some jibberish spilt into the mix from them rubbing up against something. The good news is they don't tangle often. Edit: it is not plastic, it is a metal housing. Bass: I am using the silver tips for one reason - way too much bloated bass. People keep on describing it as amazing and the best and accurate and fast. It's not. It really overpowers the rest of the mix sometimes. Drums honestly fall flat a lot of the times because the sub bass is too busy blobbing itself from one portion to the next. Mids: good enough. They are definitely recessed (partially due to my use of the silvers), but I wouldn't say these are the worst vocal/guitar buds. Distorted guitar on tracks like Persefone's No Faced Mindless solo brings plenty of fun and crunch and detail that'll make you appreciate life for a split second. The piano and guitar separate well enough. Treble: bright. I like a strong treble presence, so this part is totally suitable for my ears. Yet again, filters will affect the sound. Cymbals sometimes sound good, sometimes are a little sharp. Soundstage/separation: these can't escape the fact they are iems. It is an incredibly intimate soundstage that has okay imaging. These are not open back headphones and especially aren't speakers. These do not sound like the music is in the room with you. It isolates from the world around you very well due to the great fit. Overall, I think for $100 these are not bad. I have moments of enjoying them and also moments of not. The bass is too much, but if you really like bass and subbass you can give these a shot.

MorgothLovesCatsThank you, I totally agree with you! I really don't get the hype about these. Don't get me wrong, they are not terrible especially considering the price. But that's it.

Lousy piece of equipment
This was a terrible waste of my money. The moment it arrived, I plugged it in to try it out. Was electrocuted somehow in my ear due to a bad connection. While trying to pull out the cable from the earpiece, the entire cable fell out. I guess that's why it was electrocuting me. Please give me back my $100.

Love these!
I have a ton of sub-$200 IEMs, and these are fantastic at this price on the site. I have the DM6s too, and when used with memory-foam eartips I think that these are right there in SQ and even better built. The best $100 IEM (with thanks to Drop!) I've ever heard. The cable is quite good too, so I'm very happy with my DMGs. Update: Still lovin' these. The blue anodizing is getting a little worn on the edges (I don't treat these very well, I admit) but they are performing perfectly. I generally use Comply memory foam or Dekoni foam eartips with my IEMs. Based on other reviews for other IEMS, I thought I'd try out some SpinFit silicone eartips (which normally I find don't seal well). However! On these, the SpinFit eartips worked great, they seal very well and really brought out the bottom end of these IEMs. The SpinFit eartips take these to a new level, I enjoy them even more. Plus the stock cable has still held up, no issues after 5 months. Very good quality. Overall, my daily drivers around the house. Super-satisfied.

Houro1I completely agree. I have had the chance to compare the DMGs side by side with the $280 Oriveti New Primacy IEMs through the Schiit Fulla 2 and FiiO E10k. I returned the New Primacy and kept the DMGs -they sounded better and were more comfortable.

First thing I noticed after opening package was the great build quality, second - the comfort. IEMs fit well the shape of the ear and even after dozen of hours there still sits comfortably. Quality cable. Isolation is not very good even with a foam tips. Besides comfort there is a possibility to tune a bit sound signature with included filters.   BGVP DMG IEMs are very strong at soundstage (large, deep, accurate), instrument separation and... BASS, a fantastic well controlled, fast bass with a strong punch and deep reach. Mids are slightly recessed, but overall present and very detailed. No bleeding into mid from low or high frequencies. Highs have clarity and sparkle as expected from Knowles double balanced armature, sometimes on the edge of sounding sharp (less so with golden filters). Tonality I would call warm, a little bit less warm with silver filters (and a bit more forward upper mid as well). Overall I do not like U shaped sound signature, but not in this case. Fun and enjoyable BGVP DMG are here to stay - very detailed midrange fixes everything. I wish for one more filter to bring that quality mid forward a lot more than silver filter does. To finish they sound great in every genre I throw at them (rock, metal, jazz, classic) and are exceptional in EDM - the reason why I can’t get them back after borrowing to my friend.
