I was loving these for the week that I've had them, but the right earpiece is no longer working. I tried disconnecting the MMCX cable to troubleshoot, and the left earpiece (blue inner ring) works with either the Right or Left cable connector, so I ruled out a failure of the cable or connector. The right earpiece (red inner ring) does not pass signal from either cable connector. Looking at the warranty paperwork, it says reach out to the retailer. Anyone else have any durability issues?

I can see at least one Amazon review which talks of the durability issue of the earpiece connector. None of the youtube hifi channels gets into the durability concerns of these chifi iems and always raves about the SQ only.

As a follow-up, I can say that Massdrop took care of me in that they sent me a postage paid return label and offered a full refund. I was looking to just request a warranty repair from the manufacturer, but the manufacturer's warranty says to go thru the reseller. In speaking with MD's customer service, who were very courteous and responsive, btw, it was explained to me that no warranty coverage between MD and the manufacturer was established as part of the group buy, and that MD did not have any units above the group buy quantity to be able to send a replacement. So, in the end, I'll get my money back once they receive my RMA, and the product is super comfy, they sound terrific, and feel really well built, to the point that I'm guessing the failing pair I received was an outlier and I'll replace them. Found them on Amazon for $129 with a coupon so I'm out a couple weeks without the IEMs and $30. Would have likely been the same result in a warranty claim anyway.
