These were a bit disappointing. On the plus side they are very well made and comfortable, and have a great cable. The problem is the overbearing bass that dominates the sound signature. It depends on the recording but more often than not the bass is too emphasized for my liking. I find that the filters don't affect the bass very much. For some good bass that that doesn't bleed into the mids I'll use the King Pro (excellent sub bass rumble), or the BQEYZ KC2 (who comes up with these names?) or even the KZ AS06 at less than half the price. My favourites remain the LZ A4 that come with some effective filters for bass and treble, although they're about 50% more expensive than the DMG.
