Product Description
With the Q2 IEM, BGVP has taken listening versatility to new levels. Unlike nearly every TWS IEM on the market today, the Q2 can switch between true wireless and wired modes—a great choice for low-battery situations and listeners who prefer to plug in. Inside, the Q2 features two Knowles balanced armatures in each earphone: the Knowles 32873, which delivers warm bass frequencies, and the Knowles 33518, which helps articulate the mids and highs Read More

good first impression
i just got this yesterday and i gave a good overnight charge and i was a little confused by the instructions. not very good or complete in my opinion. this is my first set of Bluetooth earphones and i am pleasantly surprised with the clarity. i have two other IEM's and the cables are just a thing to get used to. the first feeling of freedom with these is overwhelming. it took me about an hour to figure out the pairing and that both earpieces had to pair. well after reading some other reviews i thought maybe i had a challenge. it turned out to be a simple task. i did read the instructions and troubleshooting and i did learn the order of this setup. although i did not get the step by step in the included instruction, i had to do a trial by error and add and eliminate touches and on/off. i really like this purchase and i can't say i would recommend because of the hassles with the size of the charging container-although very attractive-seems to be very large for pockets. seem a backpack or briefcase would do better. the sound to me is good(for me) i am easy. update: 7/6/2020 i have found an easy way to pair the earpieces without using the case. i just hold the left bud till it says off then again till it says on, and then both pair, even in the middle of the song. now on second thoughts-i would recommend-i am really satisfied with these.

Awkward Insert, Solid Sound
These are my first true wireless earbuds. I'm using Monster audio's DNA iems as my comparison for sound, comfort, and ease of use. For sound, I'd say, with the foam ear tips on the Q2s and triple stack on the DNAs, they're equal. I haven't had any higher quality sound experience that I can reference. With the silicone tips on the Q2s, it feels like there's an air leak, so you don't get the full effect of the low end. For comfort, these feel big in my canal. Like, massive. I usually go for small/medium on most ear buds. The issue with the Q2s is that the speaker housing... tube thing... itself is much larger than anything I've had, excluding the Apple earpod things. In comparison to my DNAs, they're almost double in size. I almost feel as if they're stretching my canals open. Weight, however, isn't an issue. I'd say they're probably a few grams heavier than my DNAs, but it's not very noticeable. I notice pulling from my wired DNAs more than the weight of these. I haven't done anything strenuous enough to cause them to fall out; the tightness of them in my ear canal gives me confidence they wont come out easily. I haven't noticed any audio lag, yet. These are very awkward to put into my ear. Especially with the foam tips, which offer the best sound experience. Since the tips are so massive to my canal, I end up crushing the foam and twisting to seat them in properly, which is recommended by BGVP. They're very finicky to put in, but over time I can see myself getting used to it. While inserting them, they usually turn off and on once. I did have some trouble getting them paired up the first time. I kept having them sync individually instead of as a unit. After reading the instructions over again, I turned them off, replaced them in the case, and took them out at the same time to have them work together. "Wired mode", the one thing that won me over on getting these instead of something else in February of 2020. Extremely annoying to do, as a first timer. I turned them off and on multiple times getting them to sit properly in my ear and for the cable to be plugged in. I suggest to plug them before inserting them. If audio is only coming from one ear, probably the other is turned on, and is trying to get audio via bluetooth. I don't like the braided/twisted rubber cable, straight cables would be fine for me. I do like the option, but it's one of those things you don't do unless you run out of battery. I like the case, though I don't know how the soft touch will wear in my pocket over time. It snaps closed very nicely, and the magnets are good. I'm unsure about the hinge, however. A bit on the weak side, like it'll snap one day, but the magnet will keep the lid on. the LEDs on both the case and Q2s aren't extremely bright, but they're noticeable in the sun (purchased the purple ones). The bag they supply is a bit small for the 2 cables and case. Traveling, I suggest keeping the case in you pocket, and the small bag in your carry-on or backpack. I can't comment yet on the battery life, and I doubt I'll really have so much use that they're close to the advertised 26 hour limit. Overall, I like the Q2s, and they'll replace my DNAs. hope this review helped.

happy with the product
purchase this knowing that the mic quality wouldn’t be good. with that said, i didn’t buy these to use as a headset for talking on the phone, i purchased them just to listen to music. they sound great and look pretty sleek as well. if u are looking for earbuds that sound great with music and dont care bout mic quality talking on the phone then these are great choice

Pleasantly Surprised
I have a pair of Drop purchased BGVP DM6 which I have been enjoying a lot, so I thought I’d gamble with the Q2s. The more I read while waiting for them, the more I started getting buyers remorse - the reviews on other sites haven’t been too favorable. The presentation is nice and boxed well. The buds are great looking, the black is really very dark blue, like the photos on Drop. The charger case is cheap feeling: the lid is flimsy and has a click at the hinge, but it will suffice. (As long as the lid doesn't break off with normal use). Connecting these things was a total PITA. As mentioned in the review below, once you learn the trick of resetting them and then allowing them to connect to your device while still in the case, you'll be good to go. The sound is what made it all worth it. $75 for this kind of versatility?! Amazing. Wired, on certain songs, these sound better than my DM6s. Wireless, they sound fantastic - I was expecting no bass/treble overload based on the reviews I read. One annoyance is a slight latency watching YT or movies. Docking 1 star because of terrible mic and connection frustrations. (If you get stuck with only 1 earpiece connecting - reset both earpieces at the same time, return them to the case and close the lid. When you open the lid, they will turn on and then they should register on your device's BT) If you're waiting for your Q2s to arrive or are curious about them, expect the worst and you might be happily surprised like I was.

Great on the go IEMs when they sync properly
These are my first truly wireless headphones and I must say I love the concept. I've been using Bluetooth headphones for work for a while but I wanted something nicer. I'm not a true audiophile but I own a few good pairs of cans. If you're familiar with the KZ line of IEMs, these are a lot like those. Everything is clear and it has a good amount of bass. My biggest complaints are that the touch controls are a little finicky, syncing sometimes isn't right and you have to power cycle them to make them sound right if you're only using one ear, and I've been told that the mic is terrible. However if you're interested in something truly wireless and you don't want to spend too much, these IEMs are perfect for the price.

Value-For-Money IEMS + Bluetooth
Great buy. Was bought on impulse due to affordable price plus TWS capability. Great sound and noise isolation. If it came with a mic you wouldn't need to look any further. Excellent build quality.

Yeah, nah.
These are not quite the worst of both worlds, but not far away. They sound tinny, as we say. The soundstage is hollow it’s practically non existent, it makes the bass sound weirdly punchy and recessed at the same time. It’s like having a decent sound system playing in an empty hall. If only you could get closer. Unfortunately the wired mode brings everything forward, but the sound gets muddy. They’re not for me.

Wireless shit, Wired cool!
It's TWS. but in wireless mode, sound quality shit. so, I don't recommend using wireless mode. Connecting a wired cable, clarifies the sound quality and high tone detail. and more wide stage and blah blah. If you want wireless TWS, it is better to look for other products.

meh
Was hyped for my first pair of in ear IEM from massdrop. I knew i couldn't expect much but yeah, build quality is ok, charging and audio cable were sullied but audio quality is really bad imo. Doesn't matter if over cable or BT, my JBL Endurance, the samsung factory headphones that came with my A51, even some trashy old 30 Dollar true wireless Buds all outperformed these IEM. Definitely no recommendation from me.

Tried all of them, fit is real good, do you have any other in ears to compare these IEMs to?

tomtetom567Yeah I have some cheap Mpow running in ears and also had 70 $ Sennheiser in ears. The Mpow have decent base but obviously lack significantly in every other field and the sennheiser had fantastic clearity of highs and mids but lacked base. These IEMs sort of occupie a middle ground and for on the go-purposes they deliver and clearly outperform my generic Samsung in-ears.
