To be honest, 20cm width seems about 50% too wide to be useful, unless your keyboard is halfway across your desk :/

I got this off Amazon; it was about a dollar cheaper than the Massdrop price, but now Amazon is charging about $15. I actually really like it; it works great as a wrist rest, and okay as a mouse pad. Generally, I keep the mouse between my arms, which stay rested on or near the pad. It has a faint chemical odor, but it's not as bad as many products of this type (and, of course, goes away over time). If I didn't already have one, I'd seriously consider this drop...

MAC-10Yeh, so did mine.
Maybe machining marks? its all vertical markings, evenly along the rest. Then some random holes, like a bracelet or watch has been leaning on it.
Though I suppose that's what $11 gets you

nelsonI just received mine. I expected to be able to use it as a mouse pad (like it is mentioned in the product description), but the surface on my wrist pad has a worn rubberized texture – nothing like the cloth-like texture shown in the second picture on the product page. No mouse will ever be able to move friction-less on the pad I received.
Anyone else with this issue?

Mode7Yeah, I got the skin version as well. Customer service is replacing it with a cloth version though
