Anyone have any high wind experience/tests with this tent, with actual winds speed numbers. I typically use a TNF Mountain 25 tent, which is extremely stable, but also almost 10lbs, wondering if this could be a possible substitution.

bwhipplebwhipple, Big Sky's materials have similar strength as TNF Mountain 25 tent, but the 25 is a 4 pole tent so it has a stronger structure, Big Sky's Chinook 2P tent is 3 pole design comparable to Hilleberg's Allak tent... Big Sky uses the exact same DAC NSL 9mm poles as the Hillberg Allak and similar high strength silicone coated both sides fabric, but Big Sky’s Chinook series is a more efficient design focused on saving weight with more expensive/lighter weight materials. Compare Big Sky's Chinook 2P tent at 1.69kg/3lb 13oz vs. Hilleberg Allak at 2.8kg/6lb 2oz.

bigskyintlI'm seriously considering ordering this tent, but would be interested in stakes and guylines and possibly a footprint. Would I have to place that order separately through your website? Also, how firm is the shipping date? I'm in WA and have a trip planned leaving April 2nd that I'd like to try the tent on.
