I got an email saying that there was a delay yesterday, but today I got a shipping notification. Was the latter just an automated process or is it actually shipping?

KihashiSame thing here. I assume the delay message was an automated one because it didn't ship before the estimated shipping date. The shipping notification has a tracking number so I guess all is fine.

It would be nice if you had the bare bone option without the cover and stuff sack.
ErickLI think you are referring to the DreamSleeper UL pillow, please see this Drop: https://drop.com/buy/big-sky-dreamsleeper-ultralight-pillow

How's this compared to Klymit Luxe?

I'm assuming that the Primaloft branding is for the pillowcase fabric. Can someone confirm this? I don't believe this pillow has any loft inside the pillow itself. Am I way of base?

AnarchyAelleIf you scroll through the pictures at the top of this page, you will see the inflated base pillow installed inside of the blue pillow cover in photo #1, the plastic base inflated pillow in photo #4, and the deflated base pillow lying on top of the blue pillow cover in photo #5. More info on the web site here: http://bigskyproducts.com/Big-Sky-DreamSleeper-Deluxe-inflatable-pillow.aspx
AnarchyAelleYes, the PrimaLoft insulation is in Deluxe pillow case... the DreamSleeper UL inflatable pillow contains no insulation to keep it very lightweight and compact when not inflated.

What is the breakdown of weight between the pillow and case? I saw figures in older discussions, but Big Sky’s website shows that there is an “improved” version of the pillow.
NodlewThe Deluxe version has the IMPROVED air bladder. The weight of pillow without Deluxe pillow cover is: 50g (1.8oz) The Deluxe pillow cover can be removed to become the DreamSleeper UL pillow when light weight is more important than comfort.
Tips: If the DreamSleeper pillow is filled with hot air, such as one's breath, it will later shrink when this air cools so we suggest filling the pillow with air then let it cool, then adding a few more puffs to re-inflate. Note: outside air is not constant temperature and usually reaches the coldest point around 06:00 so when air temperature is coldest is when the pillow will be smallest.. some people mistakenly think there is a leak, but it just the air inside the pillow getting colder causing the pillow to shrink. Comfort level: personally I like about 80% full, but suggest filling it with air then let air out until desired comfort level reached. If too much air is let out, then just re-inflate and try again.

Got it, tried it, loving it.
As soon as I opened the package, I inflated the pillow and I slept on it for 6 hours (on my bed). It felt a little different at first, not so smooth and comfy as my own regular pillow, and a little bouncy if I get my head moving on it. But it is super comfortable and by the time I woke up, I had completely forgotten I had an inflatable pillow under my head. So, for a side sleeper that I am, it is really great.
It has two zippers on two opposite sides. One provides access to the air bladder to take it out from the pillow case. The other zipper opens up the attached travel/storage bag. The whole thing reverses and fits inside there.
I wish I had a way to inflate it without having to blow in it with my mouth, because I want the least amount of condensation to form inside. Right now, it is hanging with the nozzle unscrewed and pointing up, so that it will dry out. You know, just in case there is any moisture.
My only complaint is that there were no instructions sent with it. Not that it needs any, it is just a pillow. But I had to go online to find the cleaning instructions and search for any tips or tricks. I didn't find any of these tips/tricks, so if anyone here has some, please share.

Just got mine too. I really like the fact that the pillow contours around your head with its cradle shape. Very comfy. I also like that it uses a similar size to Therm-A-Rest inflation nozzles. I have the AirTap pump that comes in at 10 grams (.35 ozs). It works with this pillow as well. The pump is great for keeping moisture out of the pillow (and pad) and helps to curb deflation due to air cooling down at night.

Just got mine. I'm ambivalent on the pillowcase and kind of wishing I'd just have bought the inner pillow part on it's own. Well at least I have the case for car camping. Overall decent value for money.
Pillow on it's own: 1.42 oz Case: 2.12 oz
