Another brief update for everyone. The group's order arrived today at our warehouse in New Jersey and our team has begun breaking down the bulk shipment into the individual packages. Unfortunately, this arrived in the late afternoon and we were unable to have this turned around to each of you same day. We expect all shipments will depart by the beginning of next week, if not by tomorrow. Once we receive confirmation that all packages have shipped out, we will update the group accordingly.
We are thankful for your continued patience and you can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 5/26 or earlier if anything comes up.

As soon as they are done preparing the shipment and once we receive it at our warehouse in New Jersey we will break it down into individual orders and have them on their way to each of you! People are missing the point of this stove. No where does it say this is an ultralight backpacking stove. This is a 2lb portable stove that burns biomass. This means you don't need to carry any fuel during extended trips. The fan helps create a smokeless, hot, and efficient burning flame. It also just happens to be able to charge electronics, not quickly like a wall charger...but it charges it pretty quickly for being a wood burning stove.

I have an S5. With the phone off, the stove will charge it to about 50% in 25 minutes. It is a great little stove/grill. Biolite makes a kettle that generates 10 watts if you need more power.

GamuhHow is it cheaper at MEC? The stove is $185, grill is $65, and kettle pot is $55. So, for $305CAD you can buy this at MEC, or $220 CAD ($185 USD) you can get this from Massdrop. Not sure how much your shipping is but I highly doubt it is $85 CAD.

How is this ultralight? This is gimmicky hipster camping gear.

Again, for those of us who purchased a Biolite in the last drop, can we get an option for just the accessories? If I had known this was coming, I would have waited.

I have a biolite stove just to keep in my car for those side trips to nowhere in particular! I need to get a stove I can pack, but this is just my every day, going fishing and want something hot to drink, or fry up some fish, stove...Takes up little room in the car, and is fairly easy to use.

As for fire restrictions and usage, this can absolutely be restricted. Grades if fire restriction escalate and the reason why canister stoves are useable when this isn't is that this doesn't have a valve to just turn off immediately.
Here in SoCal a stage 2 fire alert will make this thing not useable, which happens usually in the dead of summer every year until the first rains of winter. So YMMV.
