i've had one of these for a few months and taken it on some camping trips. The RGB color is a neat gimmick (which i've been using in my jack-o-lantern recently). The light recharges fast and lasts 6+hours. The white light is a nice warm temperature, i like how i can control the brightness. I also like how i can set up a red light lantern to keep my night vision. It's nice and compact, and the solar alignment works.
That being said, the RGB is the exact kind of thing i hate while trying to be out in nature. Call me old fashioned, but i like old school camping with gas lanterns and firelight, and like to keep my campsite ambiance like that... leave the artificial looking light for the city. Opinion aside, the biggest annoyance is it blinks when you turn it off and also while it charges, it is how it shows that it is charging and the amount of charge left. The blink is super bright and annoying if it's dark out.
I also have a LUCI inflatable solar lantern and just kinda like it better if all you want is a simple solar lantern in a nice warm LED color. It's waterproof, has more omnidirectional, pleasing light, but it doesn’t have a red light, can’t charge from USB, and is less compact. If I can only grab one, I grab the LUCI, but some might disagree.
