I've used this on John Muir trail for 8 days/7 nights. This is a tent for an experienced to extreme hiker looking to get a lightweight shelter. I'm not going to get into details-I don't want to get off topic. But I like to add that I wouldn't have made the John Muir trail w/o this particular tent. Tent is a strong construction that allowed me to get good sleep in +25-35 mph winds! Mine was a Bibler tent which I purchased used from my co-worker. I replaced the rainfly under warranty and received a Black Diamond cover. Bibler, a good quality company, was bought out by Black Diamond many years ago.
