Overall probably my favorite head lamp. I have also had some odd issues with charging and the time it holds a charge. Essentially I usually carry a set of non rechargeable batteries just in case I lose power middle of the night. My typical use time on full high is around 3 hours. If I turn down the brightness it last much longer. I have also used this thing as a recharger for my other AAA batteries for my tent light connected to my solar panel. Charging sometimes doesn't work as intended but If i mess with the batteries, it finally picks up a charge. Not a huge issue since I usually get it working within minutes.
