This set looks gorgeous but with the rust issues some have mentioned...I'm wondering if the maintenance required to keep them rust-free makes them not even worth it. From comments it seems like an extremely thorough hand dry is needed and routine waxing or acidic cleanser. That seems like a lot of effort.

gumballsAgain, this is just a guess, but I'm thinking that after a couple rust cycles you would have a patina that would hinder active rust from that point on.
I know it's a personal call, but I wouldn't consider thorough drying and occasional polishing that much effort myself.
Not that it helps anyone at this point, but I think I'm gonna go ahead and give these a chance myself, and see if I can't see what's going on and what's needed to keep these happy and useable
