BlackRock Gear Northern Lights 950fp Down Hats

I tried it in Swedish Lapland. Was about 5 deg. Celsius at day time and about 0 to -4 at night. I almost never took it off, and it was perfect for the whole time.

I must say that was a bit disappointed when I got mine. The pictures made the hat look thicker with more loft. The one I got is quite thin even when fully fluffed out. I may be surprised, as I have not had weather cold enough to see what it will do, but I have some experience with down insulation and I can't see this hat being very warm. It is likely pretty good for relatively mild winter days. For that it is a very handy put it in your pocket and take along without bulk hat. We will see. I am curious to know if anyone has had any experience with this hat in cold weather. If so, how cold? Also, for those that got these, did the loft...puffiness, apparent thickness at all resemble the pictures?
