Quick update for the group, domestic orders were shipped earlier today. Still waiting on tracking for the Canadian orders from the vendor. We should be getting those in shortly. Group members will be emailed tracking as soon as we receive it.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 7/28 or sooner if something comes up.

Quick update for the group. We are in contact with the vendor and awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We have a call scheduled first thing tomorrow morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these to ship out from them directly to you.
We will update the group as soon as we receive confirmation that these have been packed and shipped. Currently we expect that these will ship inline with the expected ship date listed in the drop description page.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 7/14 or sooner if something comes up.

I bought this when the web copy said it included a rear view camera. Is this with rear view or not?

If you don't need wifi, gps or a G sensor then I'd recommend the much cheaper mobius action cam with the optional wide angle lens and appropriate mounting hardware.

Howdy All! Just wanted to chime in and clarify this drop. This drop is for the DR600GW-HD model. It is not an old or discontinued model or a model that has been replaced. Blackvue has 3 current models in their lineup.
DR600GW-HD - Single Channel 2.0MP CMOS Sensor
DR650GW-HD - Dual Channel 2.4MP CMOS Sensor
DR750LW-2CH - Dual Channel LCD Touchscreen
Here is there website and for you to review... http://www.blackvue.eu/index.php

Why are we going through a UK reseller instead of pitasoft themselves???
http://www.blackvue.com/en/main/main.asp
And as you can see from the site and as BlackBoxMyCar, Pitasoft has decided to pull back the DR600GW from the North American market and introduced the DR650GW.

how does this attach to the windshield? I've had a few dash cams, anything with a suction cup ends up melting and falling off in the summer.

It uses a mild adhesive from 3M. It's often the mounting method of choice for most dash cam users. Car enthusiasts and the like so you don't have to worry about it leaving resedue or being hard to take off.
