Will these units be shipped to purchasers directly from Pittasoft (Korea), or are they shipped to Massdrop (California) and then distributed to purchasers?
They are shipped to Massdrop in bulk and then our distribution center packs them individually and sends them to the community members that have joined the drop. Overseas shipping (one at a time) is extremely expensive.
RE: Warranty timelines: We typically have a few spare units to use as a float for warranty purposes. If your unit is damaged/malfunctions, we typically send out a replacement unit shortly after we receive yours. Only under rare circumstances would you need to wait for it to go back/forth from Korea.
