I reaaally want a dashcam, but I was looking at stuff that was cheaper, especially because I'm just out of college and don't have a nice car at all. For someone who has used this and/or other cheaper cams is this really worth dropping the extra cash on? (yes, I'm aware it is obviously much higher quality)

soflyWell I bought a cheaper one that failed to record the moment of the incident (the 5 minutes of that time was corrupted) but recorded the before and after. So I just bought this expensive one. Really, because there isn't an easy method to test these things it's a crapshoot anyways. I just hope money solves my dashcam problems.
