I would think carefully before buying BlackVue products. I purchased the dr750lw-2ch from an authorized seller about 1.5 years ago. During my time with this product, I've had reliability issues. The first copy of the device bricked shortly after I upgraded the firmware. A second new unit was sent to me as a replacement and this second unit only lasted about 9 months. When I received this second unit, I decided not to upgrade the firmware and I used the unit as is. After 9 months of usage, the device would not load past the BlackVue logo screen. Now I am beyond the 1 year warranty period and neither Blackvue nor the original authorized seller will deal with my dash camera issue. The idea behind this product is great. Reliability... not so much.

Ormiai have this dash cam in my car and works like a treat. have had no problems with it and had it over a year

crash987I've had this dash cam for less than a month and, after the recent firmware update (V2.004 or something), it disconnects randomly in the middle of the night. I live in Los Angeles. Daytime temps are insane right now, anywhere between 90-110 for the past few days. Not once have I left the cams out in the open heat--always disconnected them because I'm worried they will not be able to handle this summer's heat. They already get very warm on their own...I imagine daytime temps will just destroy this thing.
