Just so everyone is aware, Massdrop won't disclose the identity of their vendor/distributor. Buyers should know this up-front.
This is important because if you have a problem with your Blackvue, and contact Pittasoft, they may refer you back to the distributor for repair/replacement/etc. That's a real problem when Massdrop won't tell you who that distributor is.
I'm in that boat right now. I'm trying to get an out-of-warranty repair done on a Blackvue DR650GW-2CH camera (I've purchased two, through two different drops), and have run headlong into this issue. Pittasoft has tried to refer me to a different distributor, but I don't know yet if they're going to be able/willing to assist.
Just FYI

UnrealMcCoyHave you tried contacting Massdrop themselves? In the pass I purchased a modmic which broke and Massdrop was able to replace it free of charge.

IBIubbleTeaI started with Pittasoft. Then I contacted Massdrop to get the distributor name. Massdrop reminded me that it was outside the warranty period (which I already knew), then refused to provide the name of the distributor. A very frustrating experience, particularly when I'm more than happy to pay for parts/repair. I don't want anything for free.

UnrealMcCoyAny updates with this? What has happened? Curious to know if its worth the risk of getting this from Massdrop.

weilianOnce the item is out of warranty, you're SOL. There are no replacement parts or repairs available. Massdrop is unable to reveal the name of their distributor due to the contracts they sign with them (presumably this is required to get the lower-price deals that members enjoy).
So if it breaks out-of-warranty, it's just another throw-away electronic device that you have to replace. Under warranty, Massdrop should honor a replacement request.
