Great camera setup. Already has proven it's worth. I was rear ended by a car that was then rear ended by another. The car that hit me first claimed that they were hit and pushed into me. That made the 3rd car at fault. With the rear view camera I was able to prove that the 2nd car was at fault by hitting me first and the 3rd car hit them, not me. The 2nd car paid for all my repairs! That one accident recording easily paid for the entire BlackVue DR750S. Camera works great front and rear and worth every penny.

I am still familiarizing myself of its rich trove of options. I like the verb report when parking mode is disengaged. The cloud feature is a great idea as it provides the ability to archive recorded events. I wish the 750 did not negate my phone's Wi-Fi. But I have learned to adjust to this operation.

For the price, you are paying for a brand name. Blackvue has been in the market for a very long time now. I still think this is a great value for a quality product (Buying from Massdrop with the discount of course). I have been using it for a few months now. The quality of the recorded video is great for both channels. I will take one star off for the following dislike:
  1. In order to view video without pulling the micro-SD card, you must first connect to its WiFi. It will not auto connect when you are in the car, you will need to press the WiFi button to initiate the connection each time the dashcam power cycles.
  2. Annoying firmware update process, you will need to download the file via the app first before connecting to the dashcam WiFi, and then run the firmware update within the app from a different menu.
  3. The video needs to be download first using the app (phone/tablet), and it will stored on the app's own memory space. You will have to do this before you can transfer it to another type of storage. Instead of download it directly to the end device photo/video storage, so this makes it two steps process.
  4. Cannot turn off GPS function (Unless I am blind so please help me). LOL.
I come from using Goluk T1, which is very simple to use (auto connect, fast viewing after launch, quick boot, and cheap). However I have problem with Goluk app phone home to China without your authorization (Scary). I uninstall the app after I found that out.

Upgraded from a Thinkware F770. Better wifi, image quality and reliability. Impact sensors can be tweaked per axis and now motion detection area has zones that can be turned on/off. 😍

I'm really not sure why BlackVue can't quite get these things 'right'. They have good features, nice image quality, are pretty easy to install, etc. But it's the little things that annoy the crap out of me. 1)It reformats every night (you can disable that), but when it does it reboots with Wi-Fi turned ON even though I prefer and leave it off when I get out of the car. Why can't it retain my default "off" setting? It's an issue as my phone auto-connects and thus my map/calendar data doesn't load right on my phone because it thinks it's on a good wifi network.
The stinking app, it never seems to want to connect and the GUI is still way more cumbersome than it should be. Customizing settings is very confusing. Settings must be done in just the right order or won't work at all. Some of the settings are numbered, but you have no way of knowing what the numbers mean or how they'll affect the image or operation.
And the dang SD cards...is there some good reason you have to use just certain SD cards? Why can't it be more universal. I use high end professional cameras and any decent quality memory card works, but these dash cams are so special and sensitive that only their brand will work? WTH?
Unfortunately, I'm not sure there is a better or more feature packed option out there. But it sure would be nice if they'd figure this out.

efuscoFWIW, the reason for the "special" SD cards is reliability. The ones that BlackVue recommends are specifically adapted to be constantly written to. As somebody who works with NAND, I can say with certainty that the ones in your cameras are NOT designed to be written to 24/7. That being said, it doesn't have to be the ones BlackVue recommends -- any high-endurance SD card should be just fine. And even if you want to use regular SD cards, it's not that big a deal -- they'll just die faster than normal.

Update: Sep 27. I got this unit in Feb2018. It was great to start, however, in August, a haze (foggy) image started to come through from the front camera. I am in the Pacific Northwest and it does not get hot here like Texas or Florida. Apparently still issue with heat causing a haze layer inside the lenses. Buy at own risk as BlackVue has not corrected/fixed the haze, foggy problem.

Great product. Very clear video with 60fps (front) and 30fps (rear). Worth the higher price. BlackVue can perhaps improve the drain on the cellink battery with new software? With the dual camera setup, it drains the battery too quickly, lasting only about 24hrs max.

Nice dash cam but...
First the Power Magic Pro I ordered with BlackVue DR750S doesn't work. The Power Magic Pro power LED doesn't come on. I'm getting around 5.7 volts at the cigarette lighter socket whether the switch is on or off. Second I just noticed printed on the BlackVue DR750S box it states that using anything other than a BlackVue branded SD card will void the warranty. But BlackVue branded SD cards cost 4 to 5 more than other SD cards and have I read they don't last very long. Also they have only a 6 month warranty. I have also read the BlackVue DR750S is very picky on what other branded SD cards will work with it. I'll try the BlackVue DR750S without the Power Magic Pro for now and see if it will work with a new Samsung 256GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSDXC EVO Select Memory Card. The Samsung SD card was $40.99 from Amazon when I ordered it. BlackVue wants $180 for their 256GB SD card! Update 10\22\2019: Still haven't got to install my BlackVue DR750S but Drop is going to replace the defective Power Magic Pro. I'll be sending it out tomorrow. Update 10\23\2019: I got to install my BlackVue DR750S today sans the Power Magic Pro. Installation was very easy. Hiding the cables was quick and simple. I had around (guessing) 5 foot of excess cable to the rear camera but coiled it up and could hide it behind the left rear pillar cover. The video quality is very good front and back. My car rides pretty rough but surprising the video is smooth and steady. I have to view them in Windows Media Player or VLC Player though, see the issue below. Three issues I'm having with the BlackVue DR750S: 1 - One irritating problem though every time when I want to connect to my phone via WiFi I always have to forget the BlackVue DR750S WiFi on my phone and reenter the DR750S password to connect and use the BlackVue app. Does anyone else have that problem? 2 - Also I'm curious about what other users G-Sensor settings are in Normal mode. I set my up/down (vertical) setting to off (zero) as the roads in my area are pretty rough. I left the front/back and side to side at the default of 3 but get event recordings 80 to 90 percent of the time. I'm going to try both settings at 2 and see if that stops the premature event recordings. 3 - I can see the video files listed in the BlackVue Viewer but when I click on anyone of them a window pops up and states "BlackVueSD has stopped working." with no reason why. All there is is a "Close program" button. Again anyone else having this problem? Update 10/27/2019: Still get event recordings 80 to 90 percent of the time with the front/back and side to side sensitivity set to 2. I installed and tried the BlackVue Viewer on another laptop and the videos will play on it but it's a duo core laptop and the videos are sometimes glitchy and slow to respond. That laptop is running Windows 7. The other laptop is a quad core running Windows 8.1. Right now I'm on the fence about recommending this dash cam to anyone, that's why no definite yes or no on the recommendation.

Bagman57I don't have this exact model, but an older 2-channel version. Some quick thoughts from me:
  1. If your cigarette lighter is only outputting 5.7v, you have an issue in your car's wiring. It should be 12v, this is why the PMP isnt working probably.
  2. The Blackvue SD cards are more expensive but there is a reason for it. These cards are designed for constant heavy duty read/write. I also had the same thoughts as you and ended up getting a cheaper Sandisk 256GB card, but that got corrupt after a few days. Comparable SD cards would be Sandisk's "High Endurance" line designed for surveillance. Those are cheaper than Blackvue SD cards but more than your standard SD cards, I've been using one for over a year now.

Fantastic dash cam. a little pricey? perhaps. features and reliabilty are worth it IMO.

For everyone having an issue with the rear dash cam not recording after an auto restart, do this:
Manually set your time zone/time
turn off auto restart/reset.
problem solved. I've used this fix for a month and no issues.
also, this dash cam saved me after a vehicle accident. other party was found 100% at fault. a worthy investment

Best Dashcam!
I have about 6 of these dashcams. Hands down, the best out there. Issue early on was it couldn't access the SD card avery once in a while. I originally overcame this by just formatting them. Later, I realized this was because of the third party SD cards I was using. This needs a special high endurance SD card that allows for multiple re-writes. All the basic ones will have an issue after a while. Get yourself a good quality high endurance SLC type and you'll be just fine.
