Ouch July 22n'd? Think i'll pay the slight difference and buy elsewhere. @Massdrop you really need to improve your shipping times when the discount is so small on items like this.

29.09$ Free shipping and look to be about the same thickness as these from the photos. The only Review is 5/5 stars though similar listings for the same product share similar scores.
The only benefit this drop offers is the colored modifiers.
But given the lack of color options even that is debatable.
For 38$ I can select my own color combination from a wide variety at PimpMyKeyboard
So...Save a dollar over amazon if you want white?
Save 8-9$ over Pimp my Keyboard which has superior color options
On top of all this wait 5+ Weeks for shipping?
Even the original MSRP is listed as 35.00$ BY massdrops own admission so aside from all the other deals i listed....9$ is worth 5+ weeks of waiting to you? I know money is different for everyone but...yeah pass.

This is not the deal you are looking for.
LiquidEvilGamingThe first set doesn't look anywhere near thick enough to be close to Gateron PBT to me from those photographs. Vortex thick PBT is very similar though. For reference the Vortex you linked to looks like this:

Pimp my keyboard is Signature Plastics, as you might be familiar with, their DCS profile doubleshots thickness can be seen above. I'm unsure where you are getting the $38 figure from as usually their DCS PBT doubleshots go for significantly higher than that price. I think perhaps you're referring to DSA profile which is again significantly thinner.
This is a very fair deal at least at Geekhack where the sets are $28 single colour and $30 dual colour shipped: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=72609.0 If you buy from massdrop you'll pay a slight premium but nothing too significant, only a significant premium if you are an international buyer. As a note, these aren't sold retail yet that I know of and are being bought from Gateron distributors directly to sell on in group buys.
LiquidEvilGamingThe blank white from Amazon is from banggood. You can get it there from under $20 shipped from their US site. They are thin PBT. Not comparable at all. I have them.
LiquidEvilGamingAs Mark said, those are not anywhere near the same thickness. I think the quality of these is much higher. And when comparing these to PMK they dont have that deal in a cherry profile. If you look on geekhack they are running the same group buy and they have some indepth comparisons of these keycaps to others, showing their great thickness. If you want thick PBT for cheap, here it is.
LastTycoonAs i said to mark judging by the pictures provided they don't look thick at all compared to any of my Vortex caps. I'd love for a Massdrop rep to chime in with a measurement on the thickness.
AlexPkDefinitely looks thinner than the other two (And what's with the tri support stems versus quad?) but also looks thicker than i expected? So Pros and cons. Still MUCH higher quality image than the originals thanks @AlexPeterkin !
LiquidEvilGamingDoesn't really look thinner to me, it's an odd photo as the Gateron cap isn't lined up properly. From some quick pixel height checks with photoshop it looks like the Leopold and Gateron are very close with Poker 2 being slightly thinner, but that could be entirely thrown off by the angle (and likely is as in the picture I posted previously they look incredibly similar in terms of wall thickness). The vortex can also look thicker in pictures because of the rounded corner pieces.
I am sure Alex can comment as to actual measurements or thickness.
LiquidEvilGamingI'm familiar with the MSRP trick but I didn't realize that you could buy "thick" pbt keycaps for around $30. I thought they were usually thinner pbts.
Edit: The Amazon ones look like pretty thin pbt to me. And I remember talking to vortex thru facebook a while ago about the doubleshot pbts on amazon and they said they said they're the same thickness as the ones on the pok3r. I have a pok3r and i can't tell if these are supposed to be thick or not.
jeff.ohThe Keys on the pok3r are more or less universally recognized as very thick PBT. The sub reddit #MechanicalKeyboards goes into greater depth at times.
