I want a high rpm impact style blender in my house. I like the Wildside jar—once you learn how to make it work it will give up the smoothest blends anywhere. If I’m making a drink with ice, I hold off on the ice until the rest has been smoothly liquified, then add ice slowly to make sure the mixture maintains velocity. Once you understand that technique the thing is aces.
