First planar...immediately and definitely hooked and it's only a mid range planar. BTW for those living in France, I don't know how Drop and the manufacturer managed this but the tracking number started within the country with a colissimo (La Poste), you will not have to deal with La Poste fees for customs declaration. No hassle with customs at all. It took 7 days to be delivered once I received the tracking number (which was late by 8 days compared to the announced shipping date). It was the same deal with the SMSL SU-8, tracking started within France with a colissimo. I'm very satisfied and pleased with this purchase. EDIT : English not being my mother language, it's going to be difficult to express my first impression and later opinion after taking the time to compare the blon b20 to a sennheiser hd6xx and a hd58x. Male voices of people talking seem to come out of a box or a tube with a metallic decay, it's less obvious with male singers when voice is accompagned with music. Music is generally too bright, frequency response seems off and the imaging is a bit weird = instruments and voice occupy less space (and sometimes much less space) than with a sennheiser headphones. I didn't pay much attention to the FR at first, I was seduced at first by an "immediatity", a less decayed sound but I do not like its FR and its imaging/soundstage even if it give a (false) impression of better localization. I'm to the point to wonder if my unit isn't defective in some way. I will try to EQ it later when I will have figure it how to do it, hoping that it will improve it a bit but for now I downvote it from 5 stars to 4, which seems more fair.
