Disclaimer: The pads shown in the Zoes review are the pads they arrive in! So happy about that! These are hands down the best headphone I own now.. THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE! I currently own HD 600s, HD 660 S, AKG K712s, TIN P1s, Koss Porta Pro Xs, KPH30is, HE4XXs & AFK Khans. These are the most detail/warmth SOUND STAGE providing headphone I've ever owned. Their is just nothing else on my table that's more enjoyable tonally while providing this much detail. Using a THX 789 & SMSL SU-8 with 1/2" output... (These take mid gain around 12-1 o'clock power) Def going to get a balanced cable for this headphone. (Will more than likely be on low gain with balanced cable) The sound stage is definitely wide. The detail is provided more concisely than the HD 660 S and/or HE4XX.. These are a layed back planars for sure.. (They don't hurt your ears with sibilance.) I hope I get to see measurements of these cans soon. I'm sure they will measure well.. Although it may not provide the full story due to their sound stage. I have a feeling they will be good for gaming but to be completely honest you don't need a headphone of this quality to game with.. These are for music and holy shit do they deliver. Guitar sounds wonderful on these.. The strings are pushed outside around your head and there is an actual "space" to be heard in.. Idk how to explain it properly.. These should have been more $ to be completely honest. (They are a steal for this price) You made the right decision getting these if you did. Just letting you know before you actually own them.. Listen to some Guitar. :,) Artists listened to so far: Jack Johnson & David Elias. It didn't take me long to realize how special these are. Amazing drop! If you'd like to view and/or listen to some of the music I listen to here is my playlist (I update it frequently.) https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3X7IsIi6GWZqxYgzf1IIaQ?si=Jr0QJZMXSyiRtEU3v8dvhg

Thanks for the information. I’m not looking for like the best gaming headphones just a good one and a really good headphone to listen to music on as well. Which by the information you’ve said and given me these headphones fit pretty good into that category.

CrazyTrey10Np. Just letting you know in case you're still on the fence. TBH I've enjoyed my time with my HE4XX more than the BLON B20. It's honestly one of my favorite headphones for music and gaming. Course you can't go wrong with the B20, but the HE4XX are wonderful especially with their price tag. + I almost feel they're is more of an addictive airy signature with the HE4XX the B20 just doesn't display as often. I like both headphones.. But if I were going to choose between them I'd be on the fence because the HE4XX has an awesome price tag with the planar performance you'd expect at this price range. (Talking about the B20) In all honesty I pick up my HE4XX more often. I even prefer it over my $400-500 HD 660 S for some genre. They'res just something addictive with Hifimans sound signature that I can't get enough of. In short if you haven't made a choice yet I'd get the HE4XX over the B20s. They are just more flexible in every regard and you really don't loose out on much of anything in dynamics vs the BLON B20 other than a little bit of bass. Course in detail the B20 wins but the sound signature is a little less forgiving on your ears compared to Hifimans HE4XX sound signature. I really gave the B20s almost an over exciting recommendation because they really are great but for the $ I think the HE4XX takes the cake.

Wow, amazing build quality and sound for $350
I own several high end headphones, ZMF Auteur, ZMF Aeolus, Audio Technica ATH-2000x Open, and Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilees. These are a great value for $350. Build quality feels excellent in your hands. Very robust, but refined also. No plastic to be found anywhere, all metal construction with real wood cups. These are also very comfortable, even though they feel solid and have weight (not heavy). Sounds very clear and detailed, with good top end. Very good with vocals. Bass is mild; note - these are not bass headphones. The stock pads are also excellent, and have great shape and are deep. I see no reason to replace the stock pads, unless maybe you have very large ears. Stock cable is very nice and pleasing, with no jank. Sound good on my tube amp, and my THX AAA 789. IMO these are definitely worth $350.

Which of the 2 amps mentioned do you like better? I've read good things about both. I am currently using my Aeolus headphones on a Darkvoice 336se and I really like the pairing but I've been wondering if either of those amps would be much better at a modestly higher price point. Any insight would be appreciated. I also have and love the BLon B20s but I'm not sure they are a good fit for the Darkvoice since they are low impedance. They are fantastic on the MD THX AAA 789.

CyberthingyThey are both good tube amps. Both are well built. The Musical Paradise amp is built like a tank, thick metal body, very heavy. The Feliks Audio 'Echo' tube amp is a little more refined and has a smoother sound. However, there seems to be much more tube rolling options for the Musical Paradise model. Either are good options. If you have speakers, you could use the musical paradise to drive your speakers, like I am doing now. I haven't tried the DarkVoice yet, but if you like that you'll probably like the Musical Paradise model.

Fair & Detailed Review
First, for comparison purposes, I have owned or currently own: Sennheiser HD6XX AKG K7XX Hifiman Sundara 1More Triple Driver Over Ear In addition I own about a dozen IEMs. B20 is an exceptional headphone and I prefer it over all the over ear - open back headphones I have tried. Sound
  • +Very detailed as you would expect from a planar.
  • +Treble is very clear and crisp without being harsh on the ears for extended periods of time
  • Midrange is good, not great, but definitely good.
  • Bass is a preference. It's good but if you are a basshead, this may not be yours without EQ'ing it. It is much better than the Sundara who I would call a direct competitor as they are both planars.
  • Imaging is good, but not great. The BLON B03 iem has better imaging, but in over ears, these are very acceptable.
  • Soundstage -- Not huge, not tiny. I enjoy it. Not as open as the K7XX, but not as closed as HD6XX. Good balance in my opinion.
Build & Comfort
  • -Slightly Heavy BUT you don't notice it even in long sessions...
  • +VERY well built. It feels like it will last a long time which you want at this price point
  • ++++the ear cups swivel on all different axis which allows for the PERFECT fit for your head shape. Why every headphone doesn't do this I have no idea.
  • ++ the pads are phenomenal. I love them. Insanely comfortable. I would buy them for every headphone I own if they had them.
Overall These could easily be an "end game" headphone for many people. There are not highly noticeable improvements until you double the price which is crazy. The driver is the same as the Sendy Aiva and new Monolith. It's a very capable driver and if you EQ it, you can really get the bass where you want it without any loss of clarity.

I'm really sorry, I never saw this before 🤦‍♂️. I would call treble the same level on both. Neither is better than the other... And I say that liking both.

Snake_Doc17Nothing wrong. I decided to fork out in the days of sales and buy HM Ananda. It seems lucky with the quality and arrived not defective. This pair is easy to manage and quite musical. But, unfortunately, to the detriment of the treble. In them, I feel weakened, compared to the Senheiser hd 700. In general, 700 is slightly colder and slightly brighter, and in terms of detail it is even inferior somewhere. But if you pair both pairs with the most neutral source, then the strip will be traced exactly in the size of the scene.

So now I understand
I received these yesterday and they have been playing non-stop for 24+ hours now. This is my first entry into Planars, and something tells me I've landed on a nice entry point. I now understand why planars are so exciting. I have had several good sets of headphones through the years, but beyond anything else I've owned, the experience of hearing things in music you never heard before is the absolute theme of the B20s. The resolving capability of these cans is truly remarkable and to be honest, somewhat shocking at first for someone who has never heard planar technology. I know there is plenty of debate on 'burn in', but I will say tonight after my non-scientific 'burn in', I like them more. If these are more relaxed than the Sendy's, then I am really glad I didn't go for the Sendy's. As others have noted, these are absolutely not bass head cans, but the bass is present and accounted for and once again tremendously accurate. I won't even try to comment on things like sound stage or other audiophilesque elements, but suffice it to say the listening experience is truly wonderful and engaging. I will say that to me, these are not a relaxed chill set of headphones. I find these much more critical listening oriented, but I really enjoy that so they fit what I was after. Build quality is excellent, no complaints there. I was a little surprised to receive them in a rigid generic zipper case (with questionable packing though they arrived fine), and no box at all. They did come with the pads that look like the Sendy's with the soft cloth and they are excellent, the B20's are very comfortable even though they are somewhat weighty. As others have stated, for less than $400 shipped, they are excellent bang for the buck and easy to recommend.

Quite good for the money, not perfect though.
I was hoping, that these would replace my HiFiman's HE560, which I never liked too much. But I am not sure yet, after a couple of days of listening to Blon B20, if I still want to get rid of HE560. HiFimans phones exhibit serious problems with exaggerated and uneven treble response. For example, if the main note of a violin goes as high as in the range of 2kHz, where there's a huge dip in frequency response, 2nd harmonic of that sound will fal into 4kHz region, where there's a peak in response. That's 10dB or more difference. The result is that a Stradivarius violin, worth millions of $, is sounding like a child's toy when violin is playing in higher registers. Blon B20 doesn't have such problems in mids and lower treble, however there's a peak in response around or past 10kHz. It may be tolerable for an older person like me, who has reduced sensitivity in that region, but for young people that may be way too much. On the opposite, HE 560 has another nasty peak around 8kHz, and little if any response past 10kHz. The result is that high trebles are more realistic on Blon B20, just there's too much of it. Anyway, I prefer B20 when it comes to treble response. Bass is a little bit more pronounced on HiFiman's HE560, and I have the feeling that Blon B20 can't go as low as HE560. But, there's no shortage of bass when listening to Blon B20. I agree with other reviewers, that these phones have very nice, very enjoyable tuning, slightly warm. They can be listened to without the use of an equalizer (which is a rare thing to happen), if elevated level of extreme trebles is not objectionable to the listener. I couldn't find frequency response chart anywhere on the internet, but it seems to my ears that it is more or less flat with an exception of some elevation for low mids and high trebles. As it comes to the instrument separation, it is exceptionally good and there's no floating of sound. For jazz music, instruments are located very close to the listener. Fortunately, for classical music the distance is maintained in a proper way. My listening tests were performed with a Denon DCD800NE CD player and Shiit Asgard 2 amplifier - this is rather natural sounding gear. From Drop, they are coming with different earpads. Earpads are not fenestrated like shown on pictures, rather hybrid style, but without velour - there's some cloth material on the outside. Looks like there may be a problem with pads replacement in the future. Not good. These pads are not especially comfortable, but at least you will not be constantly forgetting that you have phones on your head.

I love them
I wasn't sure about these as they're lesser-known than most other headphones but for $350 I thought it was worth a shot. Going from HD6XXs, I was blown away the first time I put them on. Amazing clarity and bassier than the Sennheisers but not too much. A little heavier, but still comfortable. I'm very pleased and impressed.

5 stars for 6 months, update...QC is not great
Update...Sadly my right channel is done, no warning signs, gently handled since purchase. Gotta say I miss them, after they broke in and the siblent highs mellowed out they were a frequent go to. Being months out from warranty I opened up the effected driver. Found that the solder, done sloppily and incompletely, had separated from the line in plate. Going to pick up some better 33awg clean up the hack solder job and attempt to fix them right. Amazing imaging and clarity, fantastic with vocals and instrumentals. Sound stage is fairly narrow so not my go to cans for all genres. On my balanced dac the stage widened a bit. Considering the Sendy Avia? Pass and get these, they are practically the same cans with some minor differences, the drivers and diaphragm materials are practically identical (speculating here but after some research they probably are exactly the same, the Sendy gets you more aesthetically with the same/similar acoustics...cables are better on the sendys but nothing a half way decent aftermarket doesn't fix for a lot less)

Poor build quality
Sound quality was very good, but construction is poor. The pivot mechanism on one of the ear cups broke after 8 months. The head phones got very light use at my desk and never travelled . Save yourself your money and buy a different product that will last a few years. Drop will not replace these after 30 days, which is awful. So, buyer beware.

Very tight close sound. Exceptional quality
The pads included are very comfy and angled. Just like in the zeos vid most would reference the pads he suggested, which they now come with. Sound is upper tier, wood is great touch, headband is very snug fit. Very good set of cans, worth the money

Enjoyed these immensely, while they worked. After 2 months of light use and being parked on a headphone stand when not in use, the left cup completely died. Tried different cables just to be sure, no dice. Outside of Drop's 30 day return window. $350 down the drain.

sopipariI have had a similar problem twice. The first pair failed relatively quickly and I got a replacement. The specific problem is that one of the ear cups was cutting in and out. While I was trying to figure out the issue, pushing in the 2.5mm jack caused the receiving jack to dislodge and fall into the earcup (https://imgur.com/a/etMC0Ku). This happened after about connecting/disconnecting maybe a total of 5 times. It happened soon after I received the headphones, so I was able to send back the headphones and get a replacement. The second pair, which I have had for about 4 months, has just started last night sporadically cutting out on the left side. It seems like the metal clips inside the jack are not fully grabbing the 2.5mm jack. I have not contacted Drop yet. I am outside of the US so I am not sure whether I am eligible under any warranty or replacement policy.
really? I had a warranty from the third party (vertagear) and at first sounded like they didn't want to honor it and drop was willing to refund me if they didn't honor the warranty
