Do these use 2.5mm or 3.5mm connections?

ZenosResponding to your request for a link to my recommended cable for the Blon B20. The maker will modify your connectors to fit you specific headhones. You can get them in Black or Silver. I have 1.5 and 2 meter versions but the 1.5 meter length is just fine and is really priced well. I use them on my Focal Clears, Sendy Avia, Fostex, Sennheiser HD650, HD6XX , Monoprice 1070 and various Hifiman headphones. Here it is- https://www.ebay.com/itm/BALANCED-XLR-Cable-for-HD650-HD600-HD660s-HD6XX-UP-OCC-Silver-Plated-Copper/283513268086?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=584656625455&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648 I have many of these cables for different headphones that I own. The cables pretty much out perform my Lavicables and Moon Audio Black Dragons cables that cost over $250. They also out perform all my other cables and I have spent a great deal of money trying different ones in search of what works. Good luck.

Jared_SThe cable they sell on ebay are for the Sennheiser HD models. I bought several for my 650, 6xx, 58x headphones. However, I found out that they would terminate the cable with other connectors to match other brands of headphones (i.e. dual mono 3.5 mm for my Focal Clears, dual stereo 2.5 mm for my Monoprice M570). They do this for the same price as the model they sell on ebay. I just ordered the the HD 6xx cables and put a note to the sellers on the space provided on the order page with my required modification. I also follow up with an email to the seller just to make sure they know about the modifications. They are easy to work with and built and deliver the cables from Hong Kong pretty quickly given the distance. They usually come registered mail, so you have to sign for them, but they are worth the little extra trouble.

ZenosI assume you are talking about a cable for the Blon B20, terminated with a 3.5 mm plug at amp end and dual, mono, 2.5 mm plugs at the ear cups? Monoprice sells a decent cable for under $40 that meets that requirement on their site and Amazon. The only problem is that they are a pink color. They sound pretty good, however. Apart from that, I have spent a lot on cheaper (-$50) cables and have usually been disappointed. Better to spend a little more. I use the company I linked you too above and they custom made cables for me and they start at about $65. This cable is also okay and is under $50 on Amazon. tkycWith the original one you recommended, what would be an interconnect to get to convert it from 4 pin XLR to 6.35mm or 3.5mm unbalanced. Is it possible to request one from them for additional cost?

ZenosYou don't have to convert anything. The company will build the headphone cable, specifically for your needs, with the size plugs that you want. I would order the following Sennheiser cable on ebay- https://www.ebay.com/itm/6-35mm-Plug-Cable-for-HD650-HD600-HD660s-UP-OCC-Silver-Plated-Copper/283541729284?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=584734247134&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648 You select the cable length and color- black or silver. Then just add a note to the cable maker (huus128) on the order page. I would also send a note through "contact seller button" telling them what plugs you want. For the Blon B20, you would request dual mono 2.5 mm plugs at the ear cups to plug in to the 2 jacks, R and L. The other end comes with a 6.5 mm plug on the other end. You could request it be changed to 3.5 mm if that is better. You should also specify either balanced or single end design. The silver cables look better but I have black as well and they are nice, too. The cable is braided, silver-plated copper and sound really good. I use these on my Sendy Avia's, Monoprice M570 and M1070, Fostex TR-X00, 3 Sennheisers and several Hifiman headphones. I have bought a lot of them and had a great experience dealing with the Maker. He knows his stuff and what terminations different headphone use. I hope this makes sense and the link above works.

tkycI am using single ended right now but I may go to balanced in the future and I was just hoping to get a balanced cable and get a interconnect to single ended rather than get a unbalanced cable and then need to buy another cable in the future for balanced.

ZenosI think what i'll do is get it balanced and specify as you said about the adapters and then get this maybe https://www.amazon.com/NewFantasia-Adapter-Balanced-Female-Headphone/dp/B07D7LG5BL/ref=pd_bxgy_img_2/140-1628860-2572730?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07D7LG5BL&pd_rd_r=8bed3702-da6c-47af-b933-8e67a5470e4b&pd_rd_w=YSgoU&pd_rd_wg=RAJZK&pf_rd_p=fd08095f-55ff-4a15-9b49-4a1a719225a9&pf_rd_r=B9BYJA9F5X1M2FYK5BMR&psc=1&refRID=B9BYJA9F5X1M2FYK5BMR to convert it back to single ended. Then if I end up getting a better amp in the future that works best with 4 Pin XLR, I'll have it.

ZenosSo it seems you may special order a cable from huss128 on ebay? I think you will like them. I have order several thousand of dollars of cables in the last year and I always come back to these silver-plated models. As far as the adapter from 4-pin XLR to 3.5 mm plug, I think that would work but I am not sure. You may just want to order the cable with a 6.5 mm or 3.5 mm termination and buy a new one if you get a 4-pin amp in the future. The cable, I recommended is only $65 for a 1.5 meter length and only $10 more for the 2.0 meter. I have single ended and balanced output amps, 2 of each. I really can't hear the improvement/ advantage of the balanced design. Single end is just fine and I am quite fanatical about my sound.
