I added foam tips then used my Ikko OH10 cable and the Blon ended up being very close, the Blon being slightly tilted toward bass. Glass Onion by The Beatles was a bass guitar pleasure with great slam. There was more slam with an old Fiio X3 than a Hiby R5. There could be a little too much in the mids, or some shouty distortion, or it could just be me. They still seem low-fi in resolution. I like the balance. Strange how big the transformation was even just replacing tips. The Blon surpassed my fav Final Audio sets in this class, and without KZ weirdness. I even think I like the cable/tip swap version more than the BVGP DMG and probably even the OH10 -- and that does seem to fall into the hype.

I found it odd too how much the sound was effected by changing the tips. For more bass I use Comply Foam Isolation+ and for more reference sound I use the Spinfit CP240's.
