Insane Value for the Price!
I'm new to the whole hifi scene and these were my first value IEM purchase. And man, they're pretty awesome. I took others advice and bought a replacement cable from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SSBDPCX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and replacement ear-tips. To be honest, I spent more on the cable than I did the BL-03's and I don't even think it's really needed to be honest. The cable that came with it is decent for what it is. But, if you want the upgrade to a more comfortable and better quality cable, then pull the trigger but otherwise.. it's not needed. I've settled on the Comply 500-core tips and have tried almost every type to find the perfect pair. I like the unwaxed isolation (for work when I want to remain quiet) and the comfy (for everything else). These have a decent weight to them and they're fairly comfortable in my ears. I don't try to jam them into my ear drums, but just push them in enough to "sit" in my ear canal securely. I also have smaller ears than your average person. I recently just bought the Sony MDR-EX800ST (wanted a smaller nozzle size for my tiny ears) and comparing to them, the sound has a lot more bass and pounce to each song and makes listening to rock/hip hop a better listening experience than the Sonys. There isn't a large sound stage but I wasn't expecting anything insane, as these were 9% of the price I paid for the Sonys. These would make some amazing gifts for future audio lovers as well. Just buy them. Thank you Drop and BLON.
