Historically have had driver issues. Too bad as it is a nice product.

BenincaI've had the Blue Yeti Pro for about 4 years now and I agree on the driver issues. On their support page they don't provide any guidance for any version of OS X made after 2014 or any version of Windows made after 2013. If you use a modern OS, expect to do a lot of fiddling with settings and whatnot to get your system to recognize the Yeti Pro. It is definitely NOT a plug-and-play microphone. That being said, the hardware itself is pretty dang good.

CincinnatuxThat's because they don't need one. Most USB mics use Windows built in audio drivers for ease of use. I don't know why you are having so many issues. Maybe it's because you are using outdated drivers when you don't need them?
The device should be plug and play. I have never had an issue with my Yeti mic either.

pwnermanLucky you. I've used my Blue Yeti Pro with 5 different computers, 4 of which outright failed to recognize it as a device or would not sustain connectivity with it. Using it without a driver wasn't an option because the computers could not identify the hardware as a sound device. If you search Google or YouTube you will find hundreds of other people who had similar frustrations to mine. Blue has given inconsistent responses to queries on this topic. They claim that there are no proprietary drivers for this microphone, yet you can find them for download directly from Blue. Blue officially tells users they need to direct complaints at Microsoft. Microsoft's recommendation is to install the outdated Blue proprietary drivers and run them in compatibility mode.
For the record, I've used the Yeti Pro on the following operating systems: Windows 8.1, Windows 10, OS-X Mavericks, OS-X Yosemite. I tried to get it to work on Linux Mint 18, but ran out of time to troubleshoot and ended up using a Windows laptop instead. Maybe my hardware is faulty, but if so it is a common fault.
