The BT-4 BlueTube Amplifier + Speakers is a successful Kickstarter project that brings class to your home or office space. The 3/4" thick walnut and cherry enclosures are hand rubbed with linseed oil, then waxed and are reminiscent of audio equipment built 60 years ago by craftsman. The retro feel of the exposed tubes distinguish a tube amplifier from any other type of audio player. When the lights are turned down, the tubes themselves produce a warm glow that makes this sound-system stand out from all the rest. Not only that, it has Bluetooth integrated into the amplifier allowing you to sync with Bluetooth enabled audio device. This is a system you will be proud to show and a system that that could well be in your family for generations.
How does it Sound?
The BT-4 Blue Tube Amplifier's internals are based off the Model 12M Stereo Integrated Tube Amplifier platform by S-5 Electronics, which is well received in the tube amplifier community. Tube amplifiers have a more refined sound, very different from a transistor amplifier. The tone of a vacuum tube amplifier is softer, warmer and more natural. Vocals are more articulate, the separation of the instruments is much more defined and the entire listening experience is greatly enhanced.
Titanium Full-Range Speakers
The Titanium full-range speakers will bring your music to life. The speaker frame is constructed of cast aluminum for maximum rigidity. Solid 3/4" walnut and cherry hand-rubbed, waxed enclosures. High quality "easy-connect" spring loaded speaker connections.
The Aluminum Subwoofer really brings that low end life into your music. Designed to work seamlessly with the BlueTube Audio Amp. Also has inputs and controls for use with other systems. Subwoofer Companion to the Bluetube amplifier. This unit will be a powered sub that will plug directly into the BlueTube amplifier and really open up the low tones. It will be constructed of the same cherry and walnut hardwoods with the signature band of cherry running around the Subwoofer enclosure. The subwoofer can be added for $260 more during the checkout process.

Delivery Schedule
The BT-4 Blue Tube Amplifier is handmade in Franklin, Indiana by a master woodworker that holds a bachelors degree in fine art. The enclosures have the same care and attention given to a guitar or violin. They are all solid 3/4" walnut and cherry woods. No MDF, no veneers, only hand selected hardwoods. The interface board that contains a separate 5 volt power supply, a special chip to charge iPhones and iPads, relays to turn off speaker outputs when the headphone is plugged in and the logic for the selector switch cost as much as the amplifier board minus tubes. The internal super structure that holds the transformers and PCB board is a custom made powder coated chassis that holds everything solid in place and protects the wood enclosure from excessive heat. The knobs are solid aluminum not plastic, the solid aluminum rings around the vacuum tubes help dissipate heat, are turned on a lathe and then anodized.
All of this is made to order and takes time. BlueTube Audio can handcraft each of these amplifiers and speakers on the following timetable:
- 0-9 units: 4-6 weeks
- 10-29 units: 6-10 weeks
- 30+ units: 11-13 weeks
- 50+ units: 14-17 weeks
- 100+ units: 18 - 20 weeks
