This umbrella has lasted more than a year and remains good as new. I live in nyc, and anyone who has walked around the corner of a Manhattan skyscraper in a winter or spring storm knows what that means: dozens of umbrellas strewn like tumbleweed across the dreary streets; huddled masses of miserable people plastered in rain and clinging desperately to tattered remnants of overpriced umbrellas purchased that very morning to no avail; clueless tourists blinking, always on the wrong side of the sidewalk (please walk on the RIGHT!), clutching the broken masts of sweeping, eye-gouging expanses of golf umbrellas that have no place in this city to begin with, now split in half; and I trotting effortlessly holding with one hand this genius umbrella, which rotates and bends, adjusting itself to the galeforce winds. A masterpiece of engineering, second only to the Brookline Bridge.
