I have purchased a https://www.bluntumbrellas.com/nz/xsmetro an xs metro. I am based in New Zealand and phoned up blunt umbrellas and purchased directly from them. I would strongly recommend not to purchase this umbrella unless they increase the size of the handle. It is ridiculously small. My wife who I purchased this for is around 5 feet and her hands are small and even she found the too small to the extent that that umbrella has only been used for 15 minutes without rain, just sun, and is sitting unused. I emailed blunt NZ to ask if I could return as I have the umbrella is new condition with all the packaging but did not hear back. If everyone put pressure on them to improve this product, I am more than happy to spend money on it, but right now no thanks. When I am back from holiday (currently overseas), I will add photos to justify my opinion.

it-manHey @it-man . Thanks for your post. Did you have any problem with the design and build of the umbrella, or just the handle? It sounds like you needed a bigger handle, for which Blunt makes several other models.
Also, we make sure to include photos of models holding the handle so our members have an accurate idea of the handle size.

DannyMilksHi Danny, it was just the handle. That umbrella was just used for under half an hour and hands got sore. Even for small hands that umbrella the handle is way too small. I would very very seriously look at handles. The other bits of the umbrella are fine, I did not rest out but I know it's above average. When I return from holidays will take photos and post. The handle issue is not a minor/trivial thing. Thank you for asking more about this. I'd love to hear more from other users and Blunt itself.

DannyMilksTo add to the handle saga, I sent my blunt metro xs back to blunt New Zealand with a message, "please change to blunt standard size and I will pay the cost difference". A week later a brand new factory sealed with all the tags on it blunt metro xs arrives in the mail and not the standard size. I've emailed them and no response. Believe me everyone, unless you have hands the size of a 5 year old, or like very small handles do not buy xs blunt umbrella.

bsastorGreat choice. I just measured and took pictures and 7cm!!! I cannot believe this went past testing and out to the market. It is just crazy!! See Pictures below.

it-manthanks for uploading the pics and everything. (i use that same sharpie for work too!) I like the design, don't mind the small handle (i'm asian) but even for me i think the canopy is too small. i would consider the normal size, but definitely not the XS. somehow i feel that this drop is to help them clear their stock.
