Between design and price this is so close to being one of the best drops in a while but WHY is there a 2u/1u shift that's useless and has no compatibility and ruins stagger and ruins the board. Please make an R2 with a normal stagger

Again warning to any potential buyers - the 2u left shift makes the bottom row stagger on this board crazy (worse than a typical 2u left shift layout does on a 40% board). E.g. the Z key is 0.25u to the right of where it ought to be, placing it directly below W instead of 3/4 of the way between Q and W I have no idea why they didn't use 1.75u left shift and 1.25u right shift as these are present in almost every custom keycap set, and also give the correct stagger. The Z row is an extra .25u stagger? 🤔

Please bear in mind that this keyboard does not have traditional staggering. I previously purchased this keyboard and found the layout to be nearly unusable. Traditional stagger offsets Q from A by 0.25u and A from Z by 0.50u. The BM43 offsets A from Z by 0.75u. Further, if you were planning on buying another keycap set for this board, please note that the left shift is a 2u left shift. Many keycap GBs do not have this key.

What's with this awful shift row? You need a 2U shift and the stagger is still horrible. If you changed left shift to 1.75U and right shift to 1.25U, you would not only get a normal stagger, but you'd also make this board compatible with an like 99% of non-104/108 keysets since 1.25 and 1.75U shifts are very common.

Alpha keys are not close to the proper stagger! That is my point! 1.75/1.25 shifts would give the exactly correct stagger!

Is there any possible chance of changing that PCB plate to a standard stagger before shipping? PCB design isn't that time consuming and the case could stay exactly as it is

You obviously either don't use QMK or have never used a 40%. Most staggered 40's like the Daisy, AMJ40, JD40, and similar all end their alphas at "L" and then have a 1.75u key right next to it.
