I've had the slimfold wallet for 6 months now, and unfortunately I noticed that it is falling apart on the right side (where the four card pockets are). 2/3 of the mesh behind the cards have detached from the leather. Sorry to say that I will be contacting Massdrop to hopefully take advantage of their warranty.

So I finally got my ID card case yesterday and thankfully I'm quite pleased with the actual product. Because other than that, this purchasing experience has been miserable. It's been nearly 2 months since I made the purchase. The amount of delays and stuff was terrible and then shipping was atrocious. I know that's sort of Massdrop as usual, but it has been especially slow and poor this time around.
Just a suggestion to Massdrop (should you take it or not) but maybe in the future if long unexpected delays happen, you should perhaps consider giving some sort of free upgraded shipping to make up for it. Smartpost took nearly as long as the whole delay ordeal did. I realize a lot of this was outside of your control, but if you value having satisfied shoppers, you might want to take it upon yourselves to not let things get this out of hand.
Anyway this has just left a very sour taste in my mouth overall. So I'll refrain from saying anything else.

The vendor informed us that the rest of the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey now. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive by the middle of next week.

TylerAfter this "hiccup" as you referred to it earlier. I think I'm done with massdrop. Going on 3 weeks past expected ship date is a big disappointment! Not understanding how when you were preparing orders for shipment that you just then discovered that a certain product was on back order. So you're saying that the vendor wasn't forthcoming with this information that the order was shy?

We've repeatedly been in touch with the vendor and they've informed us that they are still awaiting a new batch of units to ship to our warehouse to complete the group's order. We will keep checking in until everything is en route to us and turned around to each of you.

The group's bulk order arrived earlier to our warehouse in New Jersey and many of the individual packages have already shipped back out. However, upon taking inventory of everything received, our team was made aware of a backorder affecting a small handful of units. Rest assured, we've reached back out to the vendor to resolve this hiccup and expect to have the remaining units in our warehouse shortly.

Individual shipments are being prepared now! Our warehouse team received the group's bulk order earlier and have already broken everything down into the individual packages. As soon as your package is scanned into the courier's system an email will be sent with shipping confirmation and tracking info.

We've been in touch with the vendor regarding the group's order and they've let us know that they are still working to gather and pack the group's order for shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey. We will continue to check in with them throughout the fulfillment process and update the group again as soon as everything is en route to us!

I"m excited i bought the Card holder, i just hope the front pocket (ID part) the RFID function doesn't work. I have to use an ID to scan into different areas of work and RFID has always been a bane in that department. Otherwise i'm excited.
