Dam, joy jolt brake so fast. They break from 1 inch fall, hell it might have been .5 inch fall. I will try different brand (this one in future) since I love the look, design of double wall.

I don't know for you guys but I'm really dissapointed with Bodum quallity. Talking about Pavina series, same shit as Bistro, only without handle. Have 8 pieces of 0,25l and 8 pieces of 0,35l and half of them are already full of steam inside the glass walls. Using daily at the morning for Espresso or Latte, washing always in dish washer. It's up to you if you really love design over quallity. I fall on design, already changed 4 pieces but after more more fail i'm done with the product. Yes, it's still under warranty but pretty annoying to start reclamation procedure.

I'm mystified by all the criticism of these Bodum mugs. I've been using the 10oz version almost every day for the past four years. Yes, it is my 3rd one (first one got a small crack after about a year, second one hit another dish and broke). But I must own about 30 different mugs and this Bodum keeps my coffee and chai noticeably hotter for longer. I often work at home, and getting this mug actually makes me more productive since I make fewer trips to throw out a cold chai or cold coffee. I thought that they recommend only top self in the dishwasher for this mug - since high pressure water could force itself through the seal on the bottom of the mug. Anyway, I wash mine on the top shelf and have had no problems. If I didn't already have two mugs, I would order a set on this drop. Maybe there is something cheaper and bigger - but I'm glad to have something that works better than the other mugs I've tried.

They need a 20oz (or even 22oz) not wide, in order to retain the heat...

I have a saying for most products (and code as well): "this is proof they don't use what they design"

roissyHa--this is how ugly rumors are started! I have a similar, large-size mug (don't know the oz's) but it is definitely wide, and has no problem keeping its contents HOT.

Plenty of similar styles and sizes on Amazon, of course, and no need to purchase EIGHT unless you really need that many.

Like I say... if you want cups that don't break, metal is the answer.

EdinNJI don’t—that’s why I never buy mugs on those Titanium drops—they last too damn long.
